Wheel Stops
Whether you call them Wheel Stops, Parking Blocks, Parking Curbs, or something else, the function is the same: to keep vehicle bumpers from extending too far past a certain point.

These are functional items that definitely serve a purpose. Though you might not give much thought to them, we take pride in making sure the wheel stops that we install are secure and are properly aligned. We also make sure that the pins are properly set approximately ½” below the top surface. This helps prevent damage to car bumpers. Most modern day vehicle bumpers are made of some form of plastic. Even a pin that sticks up slightly above the concrete stop can cause significant damage to a vehicle. Why risk having to deal with this hassle? Hire the company that will install them right the first time.
the groundUP has installed close to 10,000 of wheel stops over the course of 15+ years. And we install them all – small EV ones that weigh 85 pounds each, all the way up to Aztec style Truck Curbs that weigh 1,200 pounds each.

Other Types of Wheel Stops that we Install:
Rubber
Plastic
Composite
Although these types of wheel stops are lighter and more portable than concrete ones, many of them will warp and curl over time. The harmful affects of UV rays break down the plastic & rubber materials and cause them to lose their structural integrity. They do have applications where they are advantageous, though, such as in parking garages.
